Our Language Program

 

Our school teaches Traditional Mandarin (繁體). Both Mandarin phonetic systems (注音符號 Zhuyin Fuhao and Hanyu Pinyin Romanization) are taught in all levels.

 

Class placement is based on age and academic level, starting with preschool, ages 4+. 

 

Our classes support both non-heritage speakers (for families without a Traditional Mandarin background) and heritage learners (children who speak Traditional Mandarin at home).

 

 

Learning Beyond the Classroom

 

We offer extracurricular activities which include learning about Traditional Mandarin art and culture. Academic competitions are also available throughout the year.

 

Traditional Mandarin holidays are celebrated with students and families like Lunar New Year and mid-Autumn Festival. These celebrations include arts, calligraphy demonstrations, food, and more.

Children’s classes are held every Saturday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
