Our Adult Traditional Mandarin Language Program offers a unique opportunity for adults to immerse themselves in the Traditional Mandarin language and culture using the comprehensive textbook 「來!學華語」Let's Learn Mandarin.
Our program is designed to provide a solid foundation in Traditional Mandarin language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. By enrolling in this course, you’ll benefit from expert instruction, interactive learning methods, and a supportive environment that caters to adult learners.

Adult classes are held every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

Registration is closed for Spring 2026.
Registration for the School year of 2026 - 2027 (Fall 2026 and Spring 2027) will be open on:
May 1st: returning students
June 1st: new students
May 1 to May 31: Priority registration period for returning students.
June 1: Remaining spaces will be made available to waitlist families.
June 30: Registration deadline for the full academic year (may be extended if needed)
November 30: Registration deadline for the Spring semester (may be extended if needed)
Full Academic Year (2 semesters): $750
Single Semester: $400
Sibling Discount: If more than one child from the same family is enrolled in our school, each additional sibling will receive a $10 tuition discount.
This refund policy is applicable for each academic year [from September 1st of the current year to August 31st of the following year].
A processing fee for cancellations applies:
100% refund, less a processing fee, for cancellations is available until the end of July.
50% refund, less a processing fee, for cancellations made by the end of August.
No refund for cancellations made from September onwards.
Once cancellations, the student is no longer considered a returning family or student for registration priority.
Priority registration is provided to returning families and students. Enrollment for returning students is guaranteed if registered by the given enrollment deadline.
If re-enrollment of returning students is not submitted by the enrollment deadline, those spaces are opened up for enrollment of new students.
Registration and payment must be complete through the online form – email and phone registration are not accepted. If an exception is needed, email info@seattle-chinese.org.
New student registration is first-come, first-serve at a published date and time. Demand exceeds the number of spots we have available and we appreciate your patience. Your child’s safety and education are our priorities.
Transfer requests and mid-semester starts are considered on a case by case basis and as space allows.
Tuition is not prorated except for mid-year starts.

I understand and acknowledge that participation in Evergreen Mingyuan School, including all its activities and the use of its facilities and equipment, can result in injuries, harm or loss. I authorize the child named in this registration to participate in all activities both in the classroom and activities. On my own behalf and on behalf of the child named in this registration, I assume the risks of participation and hereby waive and release all claims against Evergreen Mingyuan School (including its directors, staff, and agents) that may arise from injuries, harm or loss resulting from participation in the classes and activities, to the fullest extent allowed under Washington law.
I understand that my child may be photographed during classes and activities. Photos may be made available to all families and photos may be used in promotional materials. I agree that a designee of Evergreen Mingyuan School can take and use photos of the child named in this registration during classes and activities without compensational obligation, and I hereby release Evergreen Mingyuan School from any claims or liability resulting from their use of photos.
In the event of serious illness or injury to my child, I expressly consent to the administration of emergency medical care, if in the opinion of attending medical personnel, such action is advisable. Further, I authorize the staff and agents of Evergreen Mingyuan School to act on my behalf as parent/guardian of my child while participating in classes or activities including the admittance to and release from a medical facility. I acknowledge that the costs of any medical treatment provided to the child named in this registration that are not covered by medical insurance will be my sole responsibility.
